“‘Treat Me Right’ was a really fun tune to make with Joe. When I brought it to him it was all funk bass, innuendos and champagne and he gently pushed me to write a chorus that would show a sweeter side to the song. I love its changing nature and sentiment, it shows both sides to the feeling of crushing hard on someone – the vulnerability AND the sexiness of it all. That’s why it’s the title track to my album.”
